I stayed here for the 75th Sturgis Ralley, I would never stay here again, the lady at the front disrespected me, Rick turned very disrespectful to me and my guest, wanting to kick us out after driving over 2300 miles to get there. I was told by Rick that all I had to do is show up and they would have all of my guest passes in one packet that was not the truth and that when my experience went downhill with Rick and his employees. Stay on the west end of town all of my friends had a great time at the other location. This campground floods out on heavy rains. The pavilion was the only thing that I liked about this campground

It is true that you sit in an hour of traffic just to get into town, but that is not the fault of the campsite, just something to keep in mind.

The campground was nice. It had clean bathrooms and showers... HOWEVER, that's because after the pump truck came multiple times a day, the water would flood out the campsites. It smelled like raw sewage and there was no way to get the bikes or vehicles around it. Not to mention how all of our camp was soaking in it until we realized what was going on. There were other sites open across the lot, next to the concert/food hall.

This was a great site. I have never been to the Sturgis Rally and this site was close to town and comfortable place to stay. Bathrooms and showers were clean and staff was helpful when i had questions about the area. They have a pavilion there that was a good spot for a bite to eat and bands at night. I read another review that said they had sewage issues, that must have been after i left. I would come back again.

For the motorcycle rally this campsite is positioned well in the middle of all the action without being in the action. I choose it for that reason, to actually get some sleep. It is fairly secure, has a bathhouse and a bar but no groceries. I think there are a few vendors during the Rally as well. It is however, very exposed to the elements. In the future I would look for something with more topography or trees.

I would have given this place 5 stars except that sleeping in sewage is kind of a big negative.

Summary: Pick the right site (closer to the food/concert hall) and you'll probably have a good time, but it does fill up, otherwise, be prepared to sleep in waste water.

They have everything you need, and are very nice.
